Shape the tone of your audio
Drop in an audio file, pick a tone preset and download the result as an MP3. There are four presets: Flat (no change), Bass boost, Treble boost and Vocal boost. It accepts any common audio format, with files up to about 100 MB.
Which preset to use: Bass boost reinforces the low end of music that sounds thin. Treble boost brightens a dull or muffled recording. Vocal boost raises the frequencies that carry a voice, helping speech cut through background noise or music. It works like the bass and treble knobs on a stereo.
How it differs from the audio enhancer: the audio enhancer fixes volume problems automatically, evening out parts that are too quiet or too loud. The equalizer instead shapes the tone on purpose and does not touch the overall volume the way normalization does. They work well together: enhance first, then adjust the tone, or use only the equalizer when the volume is already fine.
This tool offers presets rather than individual frequency bands, so pick the one closest to what you want. Everything runs in your browser and your audio is never uploaded.
