What this tool actually does to your audio
This tool improves recordings that are too quiet, uneven or muffled. Drop in an audio file, choose what you want to improve (Normalize volume, Clearer voice or More bass) and download the result as an MP3. It accepts any common audio format, with files up to about 100 MB.
A professional remaster is done by an audio engineer who listens and adjusts every part of the recording. This tool does not replace that. What it does is apply volume normalization, so there are no parts that are too quiet or too loud, and an automatic equalizer tuned for the most common cases: boosting voice frequencies so speech is easier to understand, or reinforcing the low end of music. For home recordings, interviews, lectures and voice notes, that automatic adjustment usually makes a noticeable difference without any audio editing knowledge.
Which option to pick: use Normalize volume when some parts are much quieter than others, Clearer voice for speech that sounds muffled or distant, and More bass for music that sounds thin. If you only need to make the whole file louder or quieter by a fixed amount, the audio volume changer is the simpler tool.
Everything runs in your browser, so your audio is never uploaded to a server. A good workflow: record with the voice recorder or extract the sound from a video, enhance it here, cut the silence at the start and end with the audio trimmer, and convert it to another format with the audio converter if you need to. Enhancement cannot rescue a very poor recording, so for important material record again in a quiet place.
