Fast, precise audio cuts
Drop in an audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG or M4A, up to about 100 MB), listen to it in the preview, type the start time and, optionally, the end time, and download the fragment. Times can be written in seconds (for example 90) or in hours, minutes and seconds (for example 01:30). If you leave the end empty, the tool keeps everything from the start time to the end of the file.
When the cut lands on a compatible point, the tool copies the audio without re-encoding it, so the result is nearly instant and has no quality loss. If that is not possible, it re-encodes automatically and gives you the result as an MP3. Everything runs in your browser, so your audio is never uploaded.
Common uses: making a ringtone (cut the part you like, download it and set it as your ringtone in your phone's settings), keeping only the best part of a long recording, removing the silence at the beginning and end of a voice memo, or extracting one answer from an interview.
Tips: note the times before you start and leave a little margin, since it is easier to trim a bit more later than to recover something you cut by accident. After trimming you can even out the volume with the audio enhancer, change the format with the audio converter or join several pieces with the audio merger.
