How to add music or audio to a video
Upload a video and an audio file, choose a mode and download the result. There are two modes. Replace audio swaps the video's original sound entirely for the file you upload, which is handy for putting a music track on a silent clip or getting rid of an unwanted recording. Mix with original keeps the original audio playing underneath and blends in your new track at the volume you choose, for example background music under dialogue.
For the mix mode, a slider sets the volume of the new audio (50% by default). Lower it if the music covers speech, raise it if you want the new track to stand out. The video accepts MP4, MOV and WebM files up to about 200 MB, depending on your device's memory, and the new audio is an ordinary audio file, such as an MP3.
What to expect: this is a simplified tool, not a full timeline editor. There is no fading, no syncing to specific timestamps and no multi-track editing, just a straightforward swap or blend that covers the most common case. The result always matches the length of the video: a shorter audio file is not looped, and a longer one is cut off at the end. If you need music for the whole video, choose a track at least as long as the clip.
