Why remove metadata from a photo?
Most photos carry hidden EXIF data — camera model, exact date and time, and often the precise GPS location where it was taken. Sharing that photo online can unintentionally reveal where you live, work, or were standing when you took it.
This tool re-encodes each image from scratch in your browser, which drops all of that hidden metadata while keeping the visible picture unchanged. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
